Funeral services for Sherry Walker will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Lapine Assembly of God Church, West Monroe with Bro. Gene Benson and Johnny Baugh officiating. Interment will follow at Lapine Assembly of God Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, October 4, 2019 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM.Sherry Walker, 72, of Eros, Louisiana passed away from this life on Monday September 30, 2019 at Ochsner Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana. Sherry was born February 20, 1947. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Eula Meredith; father, Cecil Lloyd Smith; mother, Mary Wheelis; sister and best friend, Linda Parrott and brothers, Glenn Terrell and Wayne Smith.Sherry is survived by her loving and devoted husband, William Billy Walker; daughters, Tiffany Henning and husband James R. Henning, Jr., Hope Frith and Kathryn Shaw; sons, Neil Parrott, Sam Parrott; grandchildren, Dillon Ryals, whom she raised as her own son, Halie Henning and James R. Bubba Henning, III; and great-grandchild Kennedi Kate Ryals, who was the joy, happiness, and light of her life and most of all her heart. Also surviving are special sisters, Judy Huddleston and Jerry Arrant; and special cousins, Diane Lenard and Sam Tough; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.Sherry retired from Safeway and worked at Twin City Raceway for a number of years. Sherry was a loving wife, mother, mamaw, mother-in-law and friend. She enjoyed life, was a hard worker and always always did things her way.Pallbearers will be Dillon Ryals, Halie Henning, James R. Bubba Henning, III, Neil Parrott, Sam Parrott and Kerry Shaw. Honorary pallbearers will be Ben Parrott, James R. Henning, Jr., Britanie Parrott, Joshua Quinlan, Mallory Shaw, Haley Parrott, Mason Shaw, Kane Robinson, Rylee Parrott, Marshall Shaw, Lil Sam and Avery Parrott.
