Wife of Fredrick Joseph Cook
November 10, 1879 - February 16, 1931
Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Catherine Cook, 50 years old, who died in her home at Meriwether and Jewella roads Monday morning, will be held from the family residence at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, with the Rev. B. F. Wallace, pastor of Parkview Baptist church, officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood cemetery, under the direction of the Wellman Undertaking company. Mrs. Cook is survived by her husband, Fred A. Cook; six sons, W. J., F. R., R. T., H. C., Joe and Warren Cook, and four daughters, Florence, May, Mabel and Mary Frances Cook, and one granddaughter, Doris Elizabeth Cook. She had lived in Shreveport for the past 20 years, moving here with her family from Cason, Ill. (The Times - February 17, 1931 - Shreveport, La.)
