Ina Raye Westmoreland Shores of Vivian, LA passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at Willis Knighton Piermont in Shreveport, after a lengthy illness. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, February 3, 2011 at Vivian Cemetery officiated by Rev. Lewis Jackson. Ina was born April 3, 1944 in Vivian, LA to Samuel and Evie Faye Westmoreland and lived most of her life in this area. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She worked at Vivian Elementary/Middle School as an aide for 23 years. Ina was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Evie Faye. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Jackie L. Shores of Vivian, and her 3 children; Jackie Wayne Shores and wife Gina of Vivian, Bryan Shores of Vivian and Anita Wilson and husband Michael of Vivian. She is also survived by her 2 brothers and 2 sisters, Victor Westmoreland, Dennis Westmoreland, Linda Kay Burnham, and Susan Lapoint, her grandchildren; Jackie Jr., Phil, Josh, Sean, Blaine, Abby and Paula, her great grandchild, Addison and a number of nieces and nephews.
