Ruth Alee Wells born April 11, 1934 passed away August 23, 2015 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg Ms. She was a anative of Washington Parish and a current resident of Poplarville Ms. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to many who will be dearly missed. Ruth was a member of Derby Place Missionary Baptist Church and had a multitude of friends and Bill Sherman and Bradley Parker in the Derby Community.

She is survived by one son Wilton earl Wells "Rita" of Lumberton Ms. Five daughters, Jackie A. Estopinal "Maurice " of Poplarville, Lousie Esteve " Will" of Biloxi Ms. Debbie Williamson "Jerry" of Poplarville, Ginger Morris " Wayne" of Poplarville, and Shannon Andrews "James " of Mobile Ala. Twenty grandchildren and twenty five great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband John Earl Wells, daughter Sylvia Wells, parents Newton and Mammie Taylor Dykes, brothers S.A. Dykes and Elbert " Preacher" Dykes, sisters Edith Thomas, Vaserie Penton and Ruby Thomas.

Visitation will be held in the chapel of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home 610 Avenue F Bogalusa on Tuesday August 25, 2015 from 6 p.m. until time for services on Wednesday August 26, 2015 in the chapel at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Pounds Cemetery. Rev. Huey Jenkins Brother Jake Staten and Brother Scott Downs will officiate.
