October 11, 1954 - September 24, 1998
BOGALUSA- Linda Gayle Phelps, age 43, and a resident of Bogalusa, died this morning at L.S.U. Washington-St. Tammany Regional Medical Center. She wasa member of New Life Pentecostal Church.
She is survived by her husband, Ray Phelps of Bogalusa; one son and daughter-in-law, D. Ray and Shanda Phelps of Bogalusa; one daughter and
son-in-law, Kristie Phelps and Christopher Strahan of Bogalusa; her step-father,
Devon Thomas of Cambellville, KY; one brother, Henry F. Erwin of Mt. Hermon;
two sisters, Loretta Parker and Donna Kay Turnage, both of Bogalusa; and one
grandson, William Hunter Phelps of Bogalusa.
She was preceded in death by one son, Christopher Todd Phelps; and her parents,
S. E. Dillon and Ella Creel Thomas; and her grandparents, Albert and Lula Creel.
Visitation is scheduled for today from 6 p.m. until chapel service tomorrow at 3 p.m.
Funeral service will be tomorrow at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Adrian Littlefield and the
Rev. Perry Jackson officiating.
Interment will follow in Ponemah Cemetery.
Brown-McGehee Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
