Norvelle Welch Pennington, 69 of Spearsville, LA passed away Sunday at the Reeves Memorial Medical Center in Bernice, LA
Mrs. Pennington was born June 4, 1946 in Union Parish, LA to the union of Elmer Lee Welch and Sudie Mae Dison Welch.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother; Mervil L Welch.
Mrs. Pennington was a former nurses aide at the Junction City Nursing Home in Junction City and a nursing home in Ruston, LA. She was a member of the Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church in Spearsville.
Survivors include her husband; Curtis Doyle Pennington and a brother; Chester Lee Welch , both of Spearsville, LA, two nieces and two nephews.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday, May 16, 2016 at the Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church, Spearsville, LA
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at the Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church , with Rev. Billy Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, El Dorado, AR.
