BOGALUSA - Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian Carter Fisher, 90, a lifetime resident of Franklinton, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday in the Crain Funeral
Home chapel in Franklinton with the Rev. Perry A. Porter of Macon, GA., her Grandson-in-law, and the Rev. Jack Collins officiating.
Burial will followed in the Morris Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. DeVon Byrd and directed by Crain Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Monday morning from 9-11 a.m. at Crain Funeral Home.
Mrs. Fisher died Jan. 28, 2000 at her residence, 1730 Main St. in Franklinton.
Known to a multitude of friends and relatives as Granny, Mrs. Fisher devoted her early life to her husband and children and was a godly influence on her grandchildren and their families. In 1970 she worked as a nurses aide at
Riverside Medical Center.
She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and the Senior Adult Sunday School Class.
Mrs. Fisher was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Fisher; her parents, Frank and Bertha Carter; a sister, Winnie C. Adams, and three brothers, T. O. Carter, Floyd Carter and Robert Carter.
Survivors include three daughters, Mildred (Mrs. Robert K.) Lewis, DeRidder, La., Yvonne (Mrs. Carey L.) Phares and Jeanette (Mrs. Billy G.) Sylvest, both residents of Franklinton; one sister, Sadie C. Bennett, Bogalusa; a
brother, Otis F. Carter, Franklinton; nine grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
