Morris Adnel Fisher a resident of Franklinton died at 11 PM, Monday, November 10, 2008 at Lafayette Care Center in Lafayette, LA.
He was retired from Chevron USA Oil Company and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Survived by: Wife: Peggy Penton Fisher of Franklinton; 3 Daughters and a son in law: Lee F. and Colby Huval of Breaux Bridge, LA; Molly Fisher of Franklinton; Rebecca Fisher of Lafayette; 4 Grandchildren: John Huval, Austin Huval, Micheal Jenkins and Crystal Jenkins; 5 Sisters: Evelyn Trebes of Metairie; Betty Sue Bordell of South Carolina; Glynn Picou of Franklinton; Janice Stewart of Houston; Judy Corts of Mexico; Numerous nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his parents James Floyd, Sr. and Vera McClendon Fisher, 2 brothers James Floyd, Jr. and Paxton Fisher and a sister Frances Dixon.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home from 5 PM until 9 PM Wednesday, November 12, 2008 and after 8 AM Thursday, November 13, 2008. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Stan Statham and Rev. Larry Archote officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
