Mrs. Jeni Burris Sylvest, 45 years of age, wife of Prof.
Murphy J. Sylvest of Hammond, and daughter of Mrs.
Alma Burris and the late S.H. Burris, died Thursday.
Interment was in the Ellis cemetery. Survivors are her
husband, daughter, Mary Ann, mother, 3 sisters, Mrs. W.M.
McLain of Franklinton, Mrs. R.V. Stinespring of Paducah, Ky., and Mrs. A.L. Wilkins of Maryland, 1 brother, Cecil A. Burris of Franklinton.
