CRAIN, AMY TALBERT
A native of East Feliciana Parish and a former resident of LaPlace and Franklinton, she died at 2:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 5, 2002, at Clinton Rehabilitation Center, Clinton. She was 94 and a resident of Clinton. She joined Progressive Chapter 115 of Order of the Eastern Star in 1949 and was worthy matron in 1959. She was affiliated with Noble Queen Chapter 45 since 1974. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Franklinton and was the widow of Donies W. Crain. Survived by a brother, Delos Talbert of Texas; two sisters, Edna T. Smith of Clinton and Eunice Talbert of Amite; and numerous nieces and nephews. Also preceded in death by her parents, Louis Perkins and Florence "Florrie" Jackson Talbert; and three brothers, Owen J. Talbert, L.P. Talbert and Hardy J. Talbert. Visitation at Crain Funeral Home chapel, Franklinton, from 10 a.m. Wednesday until funeral service at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Karl Tingle officiating. Burial in Ellis Cemetery .
