Daughter of Robert Lee and Martha Wood Burris
Died at 7:45 p.m. Sunday, March 9, 1986, at Heritage Manor, Franklinton. She was 80, a native and resident of Franklinton. She was retired national secretary for medical work for Board of Missions of United Methodist Church. Visiting at Crain Funeral Home, Franklinton, from 8 a.m. to religious services at 2 p.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Robert Galatas and the Rev. James T. Harris. Burial in Ellis Cemetery . Survived by two sisters, Flora Burris and Mrs. Griffith (Bobbie) Johnson, both ofFranklinton; a brother, Add Burris, Franklinton; nieces and nephews. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church, Franklinton; and Noble Queen Chapter 45 OES. She served on board of directors of Washington Parish Chapter of American Red Cross.
