Michael Joseph parents were Reedy Warren and Nellie Rae Barber Plaisted.

He was preceded in death by his wife Lucille Bennett Warren and a brother James Ray Warren.

He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, where he enjoyed participating in the “to Franklinton with Love” holiday meals distribution each year and often attended the monthly men’s brotherhood breakfast. he worked for over 20 years at dairymen inc. and later at the LSU dairy research station. he loved spending time with his family and grandchildren and enjoyed going to their baseball games.

Lucille Bennett Warren, age 53, a resident of Franklinton, died at 10 a.m. yesterday in Lakeview Regional Medical Center, Covington. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Michael J. Warren of Franklinton; a son and daughter-in-law, Russell and Cherie Warren of Franklinton; two grandsons, Zachary and Dalton Warren; her mother, Thelma Bennett of Franklinton; three brothers, Lavoy Bennett of Bogalusa and Marvin and Melvin Bennett, both of Franklinton; three sisters, Lanell Merritt and Yvonne Rogers, both of Angie and Vera Easterling of Franklinton.

She was preceded in death by her father, Randolph Bennett and a brother, Ralph Bennett.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home after 10 a.m. today until time for the funeral service at 2 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Dr. Gene Richards will officiate, with burial in the Springhill-Magee Cemetery.
