Died 11:05 a.m. Friday, Jan. 8, 1993, at the Lane Memorial Hospital, Zachary. She was 79, a native of Bogalusa and a resident of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Hollabaugh-Spindle Wooddale Memorial Chapel, 2 to 10 p.m. Sunday, and 8 a.m. until religious services at 10 a.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. Carol Marr. Burial in the Springhill -Magee Cemetery , Franklinton , at 2 p.m. Monday. Survived by four daughters and three sons-in-law, Joann Pickering, Sandra and John Bergeron, Linda and Leroy Tyson, Judy and Herman Garner, all of Baton
Rouge; a sister, Ava Niland, Jasper, Texas; seven grandchildren, Danny Wayne Pickering, Sharon Pickering, Michael Garner, Stephanie Garner, Pam Bergeron Guidry, Toni Bergeron Trahan and John Bergeron Jr.; and seven great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, J.T. Parker; parents, three brothers and five sisters. Pallbearers will be Darryl Krumholt, John Bergeron Jr., Sidney Ricks, Michael Warner, Darren Trahan and Jimmy Latting. She was a member of Zoar Baptist Church.
