My great grandparents headstone. Robert Debrun Bossier is the oldest son of Robert Guen Bossier and Martha L. Hatcher of Converse Sabine Parish La. Eugenier Ellen Hice is the daughter of Rev. Thomas Jefferson Hice, she also was born in Sabine Parish. They had 4 sons and 1 daughter. Her name was spelled wrong on this headstone. Everyone called her "Mama Jennie".. Their youngest son R.D. Bossier JR. is my grandfather. We are from the line of Francois Bossier and Rosayle Charlotte Barre', youngest son of Jean Baptiste Dit Le Brun Bossier who came to Louisiana from France about 1718..Settled Natchitoches and St. Landry Parish.
