SHREVEPORT, Louisiana - Funeral services celebrating the life of Jeffrey Douglas Anderson, 45 will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Rose-Neath Chapel, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport. Interment will follow at Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Scott Etheridge will be officiating. Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Jeff was born May 20, 1970 in Paragould, Arkansas and passed away suddenly December 26, 2015. He was a Certified Financial Planner practitioner CFP, CLU, ChFC at Ameriprise Financial, worked tirelessly for 21 years and was extremely devoted to his clients. He was involved in Kairos Prison Ministry. He was an accomplished trumpet player and had been an all-star athlete in his youth. He was a devoted father and was proud to be called "Pop" by his grandson. Jeff was married to the love of his life - his Bride. He was her Prince Charming and she was his everything. He was a rock to his family and a true friend to those that were lucky enough to make his acquaintance.
Jeff was preceded in death by son Nicholas Anderson, paternal grandparents Cloyd and Virginia Anderson, and maternal grandparents, B W and Edna Nations. Those left to cherish Jeff's memory are his loving wife Becky Anderson; father Jerry Don Anderson (Ruby) of Bossier City; mother Brenda Anderson of Paragould, Arkansas; children Natalie, Candice, Dustyn, and Aaron; grandchild Greyson; sister Laura Carson (Bill) of Jonesboro, Arkansas along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Honoring Jeff as pallbearers will be Ragan Hunter, Garland Carr, Scott Anderson, Carl Phillips, Keith Meshell, and Brad Anderson.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials may be made to Nicholas Anderson Foundation, PO Box 6836, Shreveport, Louisiana 71136.
