GREENWOOD, LA - Carole Anne Gregg Wallace went home on June 25, 2010. Carole, a Baptist, was born on January 12, 1944 in Gladewater, TX to J. R. Gregg and Mauzelle Olliff Gregg. After a lengthy battle with cancer, she passed away at her home in Greenwood surrounded by her family.

Services will 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel, officiated by Chaplain Dana Casey. Interment will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 28, 2010 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City, LA.

Carole was raised in Shreveport, LA where she married Malcolm Wallace on May 25, 1962. Along with being a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, Carole was also a respiratory therapist. Food and fellowship were hallmarks of family gatherings at her home.

Carole is survived by her husband of 48 years, Malcolm; daughters, Tracy Wallace of Shreveport, Kelley Bagley and husband Gene of Bossier City, Melissa Hebert and husband Lewis of Haughton, Angela Upton and husband Richard of DeBerry, TX, Jessica Wallace of Greenwood; grandchildren, Robyn, Joseph, Morgan, Gracie, and Courtney; sister, Jerry Amaitis of Barrington Hills, IL; brothers, James D. Gregg and wife Joan of Garland, TX, Larry D. Gregg of Shreveport and numerous nieces and nephews.

Honoring Carole as pallbearers will be Kristopher Foster, Lewis Hebert, Richard Upton, Zemeron Vance, Joseph Wallace, and Fred Wiggins.
