GREENWOOD, LA - Malcolm Miller Wallace, Jr. passed away in Bossier City, LA on Friday, June 21, 2013 following a lengthy battle with COPD. Malcolm was born on December 2, 1941 to Malcolm Miller Wallace, Sr. and Elizabeth Abernathy Wallace in Shreveport, LA. Malcolm, a member of the Kings Highway Christian Church, lived in Greenwood, LA at the time of his death.

Following graduation from Byrd High School, Malcolm joined the Shreveport Police Department where he earned the rank of Captain prior to his retirement after 25 years of service. He then joined Pelican Gaming Inc., where he served in numerous leadership positions for more than 20 years.

Malcolm was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years Carole Gregg Wallace and his parents. He is survived by his daughter Tracy Wallace of Bossier City, LA, Tracy's son Joseph Wallace, and Tracy's daughter Robyn Foster and her husband Kristopher Foster, daughter Kelley Bagley and her husband Gene of Bossier City, LA and Kelley's daughter Morgan McCanliss and her husband Jacob McCanliss, daughter Melissa Hebert and her husband Lewis and their daughter Gracie of Haughton, LA, daughter Angela Upton and her husband Richard and their daughter Courtney of Blanchard, LA, daughter Jessica Wallace of Greenwood, LA, sister Betty Fogger of Shreveport, LA and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home located at 2201 Airline Drive in Bossier City, LA. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home at 11:30 AM, Thursday, June 27, 2013 by Rev. Roy Davis, pastor of North Shreve Baptist Church. Interment will be at Rose-Neath Cemetery located at 5185 Swan Lake Road in Bossier City, LA. Pallbearers are Don Gregg, Larry Gregg, Jackie Lewis, Travis Hayes, Mickey Lowe and Office King.
