Shirley Temple Jones, 67, a resident of Franklinton, died yesterday in St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington.
She is survived by thee sons, Clarence Charles Tribe of Houma, Norman Tribe, and Harvey Tribe, both of Franklinton; two daughters, Debbie Tribe of Florida and Violet Tribe of Franklinton; a sister, Margie Eckles of Tunica, MS; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Glenn Tribe; her second husband, A.G. Jones; a son, David Lee Tribe; a brother, Arthur Stanley; a sister, Margaret Laberron; and her parents, Dike and Dora Ella Baldwin.
Visitation will be held tomorrow at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home from 5-10 p.m. and will continue Saturday from 8 a.m. until time of the funeral service, to be conducted from the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. The Rev. Bobby Spears will conduct the service.
Burial will follow in the Thomas Cemetery.
