COVINGTON n LeVaughn McCain, 55, a resident of Franklinton, died at 12:25 p.m. yesterday in St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington. He was retired from the maintenance department of Riverside Medical Center and a member of Springhill Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Gilda K. McCain of Franklinton; two daughters and a son-in-law, Kellie and Danny Bowen of Kansas, OK, and Lisa McCain of Fort Worth, Texas; two sons and daughters-in-law, Scott and Glendette Creel, and Andy and Andrea Creel, all of Franklinton; three grandchildren, Bailey Creel, and Koby and Karli Creel, all of Franklinton; his father, Roy McCain Sr. of Franklinton; two brothers, Roy McCain Jr. and the Rev. Terry McCain, both of Franklinton; and a sister, Dianne McCain of Franklinton.

Preceding him in death was his mother, Margie McCain.

Visitation will be held at Crain Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. tomorrow until the funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. The Revs. Tommy Morgan and Terry McCain will officiate. Burial will follow in the Morris Cemetery.
