Mrs. Ella Pierce Wood, wife of Arthur D. Wood, died Thursday at the age of 52 years, 8 months, and 5 days. Interment was in the Magee cemetery across the river west of Franklinton. She is survived by her husband, 3 boys, Wiley, Albert, and John Morris, 6 daughters, Mary, Ludy, Ada Dean, Thelma, Ellan, and Ethel, 2 sisters, Mrs. E.L. Magee and Mrs. L.T. Burkhalter, 2 brothers, J.C. Pierce from here and Willie Pierce of Magnolia.
