Funeral services for Linda Hughes of Spearsville, Louisiana will be held at 10 am September 11 at Camp Creek Baptist Church, Spearsville with Bros Forrest Post and Joe Aulds officiating. Burial will be in Caanan Cemetery near Spearsville. Arrangements are under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville.
Mrs Hughes, homemaker and member of Camp Creek Baptist Church, died Sunday, September 9.
She is survived by husband Dr Steve Hughes of Spearsville; son, Billy Hughes, For. Sill, Lawton, Oklahoma; neice Roxanne Jones; nephews David Smith II and Tony Smith; granddaughter Skylar Hughes; numerous great nieces and nephews.
Mrs Hughes is preceded in death by parents William Aaron and Nellie Black Smith; brothers David Michael Smith and James Milton Smith.
Visitation was held 5-8 pm Monday, September 10 at Camp Creek Baptist Church.
