Funeral services for Melody Morrow, 44, of Monroe, will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, February 6, 2012, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. Billy Castilaw officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Melody Morrow passed away Friday, February 3, 2012, at her home unexpectedly. She was born October 2, 1967 in Ruston, Louisiana to George Harvey Stephens and Sylvia Snookie Clements. At an early age Melody was determined to be a nurse to help people. She made friends very easily and absolutely loved nursing. Melody married Max Lee Morrow Jr on July 3, 2003 in Sondheimer, Louisiana. The love that they shared was immeasurable. She took great pride in her family as they meant the world to her. Melody loved all sports, she was an avid football fan and rooted for the New Orleans Saints with everything she had. At the time of her death, Melody was employed as a Licensed Nurse Practitioner at Primary Health Services in Monroe, Louisiana. She thoroughly enjoyed her job and her co-workers. Melody was preceded in death by her step father, John Clements. Survivors include her husband, Max L Morrow Jr, of Monroe; children, Jason Watkins and wife Adrienne, Charles Robertson, Jr. and wife Brandy, Sierra Morrow, and Max Joseph Morrow, all of Monroe; her parents, George Harvey Stephens and wife Dourthea of Jonesboro, Louisiana, and her mother, Sylvia Snookie Clements of Monroe; and her precious grandchild, Casey of whom she was so very proud of. Her family also included brothers, Steve Hanna and Mike Hanna; step sisters, Wanda Swanner and Jeannie Presley; stepbrothers, John Smith, Garry Smith, and James Smith; and best friend, Shandy Grisham. Melody had a host of in laws, family friends, and patients who will miss her tremendously. Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
