Funeral services for Mrs Clarice H Lockwood, 89, a homemaker of Truxno were held at 2 pm Monday March 19, 2007 at the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville with Bro J L Foster officiating. Interment followed in the Laran Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.
Mrs Lockwood was born July 28, 1917 in Truxno, Louisiana and passed away March 16, 2007 in Longview, Texas, she was also a longtime member of Franklin Street Baptist Church in Farmerville
She is preceded in death by husband of 53 years Cleo Lockwood; brothers-Grady Black, C E (Peck) Black; Sister-Bess Van Orden; half brothers & sisters-Harvey Black, Boss Black, Blanche Black McBroom and Audie Black Dyson Lowery.
Survivors include sons-J E Lockwood & wife Patricia of Houma, Louisiana; Bobby L Lockwood & wife Evelyn of Georgetown, Texas; daughter-Elizabeth Annette Bullock & husband Willie of Hallsville, Texas; brother C H (Coot) Black and wife Bonnie of Sterlington, Louisiana; 7 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
Visitation was 5-8 pm Sunday, March 18 at Farrar Funeral Home.
