Mrs. Beulah Hollis, 76, Spearsville, La., died in a Bernice, La. clinic Tuesday afternoon. She is survived by her husband Max Hollis, Jackson, La.; four daughters, Mrs. Opal Johnson, El Dorado, Mrs. Floye Moore, W. Monroe, La., Mrs. Dovie Taylor, Marion, La., Mrs. Novie Jean Creed, Spearsville, and one brother, Lem Crawford, Spearsville; 1 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Rev. James Ramsey officiating, assisted by Rev. O. J. Owens. Interment will follow in LeRand Cemetery by Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Bernice. The body will remain at the family home until time for services. (The El Dorado Times - April 15, 1964)
