Funeral services were held under the direction of Conger funeral home of Arcadia at Rocky Mount Church at Ringgold. Mrs. Franklin is survived by one son, James Curtis Phennel of Ringgold: one daughter, Mrs. Howard (Junie Mae) Welch, of Ringgold: four sisters, Mrs. Mollie Slack, Jefferson, Texas, Mrs. Ada Morrow, of Epps, Mrs. Annie McCoy and Mrs. Addie Nettles of Ringgold: and four step-sons. Earnest E Franklin of Columbia, La., Dosier Reid Franklin of Bossier City, Noel Lester Franklin of Haughton and Claude Clinton Franklin of California, and one brother J.W. Skipper, Ringgold
