John Fred Risinger, 72, died at his home in Strong, Ark., Sunday. Mr. Risinger was born April 16, 1897, and was the son of the late Frankie and Lillie Bullock Risinger. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Strong. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Neita Hollis Risinger, Strong; four sons, Donald Risinger, Monhanis, Tex., Frankie Risinger and Bobby Risinger, both of Strong, Fred Risinger, Bethany, Okla.; daughters, Mrs. J. W. Plair, Mrs. Paul Pagan, Mrs. Charles Welch, all of Strong, Mrs. Don Tanner and Mrs. Paul McGoogan, both of El Dorado; four brothers, Willie Risinger and Ed Risinger, both of El Dorado, Dixon Risinger, Spearsville, La., and Jake Risinger, of Luling, La.; four sisters, Mrs. Fred Futch, El Dorado, Mrs. George Bennett and Mrs. Annabelle Bennett, both of Spearsville, La., Mrs. Grady Carroll Monroe, La.; 23 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Urbana Church of Christ. Burial will follow in the Antioch Cemetery in Spearsville under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be nephews of Mr. Risinger, Billy T. Bennett, Ralph Bennett, Robert Mason, Jack Gilmore, Levy Norsworthy and Dicton Norsworthy. (El Dorado Times - June 23, 1969)
