Died along with her husband,Ovey Melancon when a twister hit their home.
Survived by her parents.
3 sons: Overton, Milton and Leroy Melancon.
7 daughters: Mrs. Antosas Thibodeaux, Mrs. Paul Higginbotham, Mrs. Sidney Harmon, Jr, Mrs. Erlin Miller, Mrs. Roy Duplechin and Misses Margie Lee and Frances Melancon.
