Beatrice R. Wissel, 73 and a resident of Star Hill Community, died at 7 p.m. Friday at the Riverside Medical Center.
She was a member of the Star Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
She was survived by one daughter, Sally Jane Caples of Franklinton; two sons, Sam J. Smith of Bogue Chitto, MS, and Abel Smith of Franklinton;
She was also survuved by two sisters, Lillie Mae Mann of Denham Springs, and Eva Richardson of Texas; four brothers, Floyd Richardson of Ponchatoula, Hollis Richardson, J. C. Richardson and Eddie Bill Richardson, all of Dallas, TX; 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Wissel was preceded in death by her first husband, Abel Smith, and her second husband, Lawrence Wissel.
Visitation will be at the Crain Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday until time for the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Elder Ted Phillips and Rev. Tim Gay will officiate.
Burial will be is the Star Hill Church Cemetery.
