Roy - October 24, 1919 - December 31, 2012
Graveside service honoring the life of Roy Mack Posey were Saturday, January 5, 2013 in Beulah Cemetery at Marthaville, LA.
Mr. Posey, age 93, of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away Monday, December 31, 2012. He was born to the late Willie S. Posey and Geneva McMurray Posey of Coushatta, LA.
Mr. Posey was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Roxie Blankenship Posey; their daughter, Barbara Ann Posey Garland; and two brothers, Jack Posey and Bill Posey of Coushatta, LA. Mr. Posey attended Northwestern State and Louisiana Tech Universities.
Mr. Posey was employed by Dealers Truck Equipment in Baton Rouge for over 30 years.
Mr. Posey was an active member of the Masons for 68 years. He was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason and a charter member of the East Gate Masonic Lodge F & AM #452 located in Baton Rouge, LA.
Mr. Posey is survived by his sister of Coushatta, LA; his grandson and primary caregiver of Baton Rouge, LA; and granddaughter.
