Funeral services for Myrtis Dale Blue Haltom, 76, were held Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Rose-Neath's Mansfield Chapel. Officiating was the Rev. Mike Stowell. Interment followed in Beulah Cemetery in Ajax, LA.

Myrtis was born May 6, 1937 in Pelican, LA to James and Emma Blue. She passed away on June 2, 2013 in Shreveport, LA.

Myrtis was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Flavil (Slim) N. Haltom; sister, Lucille Blue Pruitt; and brother, James E. Blue.

Left to cherish her memory are her son; daughters and sons-in-law; two stepchildren and their children; four grandchildren; great-granddaughter; and three sisters.
