James - June 22, 1917 - December 20, 2010
Progress Cemetery Services for James Aswell "As" Diamond will be held Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Rose-Neath Chapel in Mansfield, Louisiana.
Officiating the service will be Bro. Bob Russell and Bro. Buck Furlow. Interment will follow at the Progress Cemetery.
Mr. Diamond was born on June 22, 1917 in Mitchell, LA to James and Sally Diamond and entered into rest December 20, 2010 at his residence in Converse, LA.
He is preceded in death by Yumra Folks Diamond and daughter Sylvia Ostrander. Left to cherish his memory is his daughters Zula Fox, Myrtie Virginia Dixon and husband Russ, Carolyn Sue Ott and husband TJ; grandchildren Wayne George, Larry George, Sissy Carson, Ricky Austin, Robie Waren, Frank Fox, James Ott and Benny Ott; 18 Great-Grandchildren and 16 Great-Great Grandchildren.
