Eva Jordan Thomas, 92, a resident of Franklinton, died at 1:15 am today in Riverside Medical Center. She was a retired nursery aid from Riverside Medical Center for many years. She was a member of Lawrence Creek Missionary Baptist Church and was the widow of Estus "Dock" Thomas Sr.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Margie and Howard Sheridan of Franklinton; a son and daughter-in-law, Estus Jr and Jackie Thomas of Bogalusa; four grandchildren and spouses, Elisa and J T Thomas, Belinda Sullivan, all of Franklinton, Gordon Thomas, and Norman and Shanna Thomas, all of Bogalusa; great-grandchildren and their spouses, Cheyenne and John Sandifer, Ashlee Thomas and Brittany Sullivan, all of Franklinton, and Casey Thomas and Kassidy Thomas, both of Bogalusa; a great-great-grandchild, Bethany Sandifer of Franklinton; a brother and sister-in-law, Culley and Maxine Jordan of Bogalusa; and a sister-in-law, Waver Jordan of Franklinton.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Rene Jordan; three sisters, Ruby Creel, Alliemae Sumrall, and Willie Wascom; two brothers, Houston Jordan and V J Jordan; and a great-granddaughter, Danielle Thomas.
