Funeral services for Kathy R. Butler, age 51, of Forest, Louisiana will be held at 11AM on Friday, October 24, 2008 at First Baptist Church of Oak Grove, Louisiana. Reverends Joe Aulds and Roy Williams will officiate. Burial will be in the New Forest Cemetery in Forest, Louisiana. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove. Mrs. Butler died Monday, October 20, 2008 at West Carroll Memorial Hospital in Oak Grove. She was a secretary for the Media Center of the West Carroll Parish School System. She is preceded in death by her grandson, Gavin Reid Butler; and her parents, Cecil Turner Ratliff and Bobbie Jean White Ratliff. She is survived by her husband, Jim Butler of Forest, Louisiana; son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy and Elizabeth Butler of Monroe, Louisiana; son and daughter-in-law, William Jason and Victoria Butler of Shreveport, Louisiana; son, Matthew Butler of Witchita, Kansas; grandson, Conner Butler of Shreveport; brother, Paul Ratliff of Goodwill, Louisiana; brother, Cecil Ratliff of Goodwill, Louisiana; sister, Annette Kovac of Oak Ridge, Louisiana; Donna Aulds of Ruston, Louisiana; Brenda Miller of Epps, Louisiana; sister, Sue Donohue of Farmerville, Louisiana. Pallbearers are: Nick Butler, Scott Sandifer, Ben Butler, Joe Aulds, Brian Miller, and Brandon Donohue. Family will receive friends Wednesday and Thursday at Cox Funeral Home in Oak Grove. www.coxfuneral.com
