Funeral services for Catherine O'Flynn Lewis, age 90 of Oak Grove, Louisiana, will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oak Grove, Louisiana. Father Joseph Kallookalam will officiate. Interment will follow in the New Forest Cemetery in Forest, Louisiana. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Homes of Oak Grove. Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 PM on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Cox Funeral Home in Oak Grove with Rosary Service at 7 PM. Mrs. Lewis passed away on Monday, January 8, 2018 at Lagniappe Nursing Home in Bastrop, Louisiana. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Peterson Lewis; son, Johnnie Ray Lewis; son, Robert Calvin Lewis; daughter, Rita Prather; father, Cornelius Alphonse O'Flynn; mother, Alma Laura Finch O'Fynn; and 5 brothers & 1 sister. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Duane & Sherry Lewis of Winnsboro, Louisiana; daughter and son-in-law, Dianne & David Smith of Sterlington, Louisiana; daughter and son-in-law, Linda & Eugene Richard, Jr. of Bastrop, Louisiana; daughter and son-in-law, Shirley & Doug Wilson of Natchez, Mississippi; sister, Bridget Blackledge of Laurel, Mississippi; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Pallbearers are: J. P. Lewis II, Clay Lewis, Robert Lewis, Chad Prather, Cole Pruitt and Brett Beard.
