Memorial services for Sherry B. Bruner, 76, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 14th at Boone Funeral Home on Meriwether Road. Officiating will be Pastor Roger Templeton of Grace Community Church. There will be no visitation or graveside services.
Sherry was born in McKinney, Texas on May 17, 1936. She retired as a Vice President after 29 years with Commercial National/Deposit Guaranty National Bank. She was also a member of Xi Mu Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi and received the "Order of the Rose" for 25 years of service.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Robert Bruner, daughter Stephanie and husband Jim Lee, sister Sallie Milner and husband Paul of High Springs, FL, aunt Jeanette Lewis and husband James of Garland, TX, aunt Doris Birmes and husband Gary of Saline, TX, sister-in-law Pat Bruner of Milwaukee, friends Rodney and Janet Woodle of Texarkana, TX, Jill Munds of Shreveport, and numerous other relatives and close loving friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
