Funeral services for Mrs Pearl A Dumas, 77, of Monroe and formerly of Farmerville, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Enterprise Baptist Church near here with the Revs J L Williams and Harvey Hoffman officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville. Mrs Dumas died Monday at Riverside Nursing Home in Monroe after a lengthy illness. She was a native of Union Parish and a member of the Enterprise Baptist Church. Survivors include one son, J D Dumas, Sr, of Farmerville; four daughters, Mrs Carine Nolan and Mrs Myra Simpson, both of Farmerville; Mrs Melba Stewart of Monroe and Mrs Orelle Aulds of West Monroe; 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Warren Lassiter, Charlie Johnson, J D Dumas, Jr, Robert Wayne Simpson, Donnie Hicks, Gordie Adkins, Jr, Pete Adkins and Buster Craighead.
