Funeral services for Mr. Ben Frank Jackson, Jr., age 73 of Dubach, will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Dubach. Rev. Rick Walters will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Fellowship Cemetery in Dubach under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.
Mr. Jackson was born February 8, 1942 in Dubach to Ben Frank Jackson, Sr. and Eva Pearl White Jackson. He died January 6, 2016 in Shreveport. Mr. Jackson loved working in the woods and deer hunting. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister: Martha Ann Clements and his son: Phillip Jackson.
“Frank Jr” is survived by his sons: Jeffery Jackson and wife Laura of Bernice and Chris Jackson and wife Dallas of West Monroe; daughter: Christina Jackson and wife Rebecca Harty of Bernice; eight grandchildren: Reva Jackson, Brandon Jackson, Nathan Henry and wife Caitlin, Joseph Henry, Kiffany Jackson, Skylar Jackson, Camden Bell and Slade Jackson; two great grandchildren: Jozalynn Jackson and Chloe Jackson; two brothers: Richard Jackson and wife Sue of Greenwood and Clifton Jackson of Vienna. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Horton, Kevin Jackson, Lynn Jackson, DeWayne Warren, Morgan Warren and Joshua McVicker. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Ruston.
