Funeral services for Mrs. Rosemary Singleton Knowles, age 84, of Dubach will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Dubach. Officiating the services will be Rev. Cory Bruce and Rev. Reagan Colvin. Interment will follow at Fellowship Cemetery in Dubach under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston.Mrs. Knowles was born December 24, 1934 and passed away April 21, 2019.She was preceded in death by her parents, Olen and Mildred Singleton; husband, Billy Knowles; brother, Bob Singleton; and daughter-in-law, Minnie Knowles.Mrs. Knowles was a graduate of Ruston High School, was a long time active member of the First Baptist Church in Dubach, and was a full time homemaker. She loved her family, her grandchildren, and shopping.She is survived by her children: Billy Don (Donnie) Knowles and special friend, Teresa Hutto of Dubach, and Kathy League and husband Schuyler of Ruston; grandchildren: Ben Knowles and wife Kim of Indiana, Justin League and wife Sue of California, and Kaitlyn League of Ruston; great grandchildren: Amber League and Atticus League of California; siblings: Lavelle Singleton ( Renee ), Jerry Singleton ( Cindy ), Tommy Singleton ( Bonnie ), Peggy Byrd ( Jack ), and Linda Wade ( Gary ); and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children Home or the First Baptist Church of Dubach.Pallbearers will be John Ed Colvin, Kevin Knowles, Scotty Knowles, Kevin Manning, Johnny Murad, and Jerry Silmon.Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 23, 2019 from 5 7 P.M. at the First Baptist Church in Dubach.Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.com
