Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Ann Jackson Bernard, 73, of Farmerville will be held 10:00AM Monday March 21, 2011 at Fellowship Baptist Church near Dubach with Bro. Kenneth Nutt officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.
Mrs. Bernard went to her heavenly home on Saturday March 19, 2011. She was a retired store clerk with Walmart. She loved sewing, gardening, flowers and most of all her grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents: Ben Frank Jackson, Sr. & Eva Pearl Jackson; Infant son and a nephew: Philip C. Jackson.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 19 years CM Sgt. Ralph Bernard of Farmerville;
1 son: Jerry Clements (Daphne) of Lisbon, LA
1 Daughter: Angela Kennedy (Bill) of Summerfield, LA
3 Brothers: Ben Frank Jackson, Jr. of Springhill, LA
Richard Jackson (Sue) of Shreveport, LA
Clifton Jackson of Vienna, LA
4 Grandchildren: Ginger Clements, Sarah Clements, Zachary Kennedy and Gracie Kennedy.
Special close friends Holli Chandler, Martha Ann Kennedy, Shelly Kirkand, Ann Huth, Shelly Malsam, Terry Peterson, Elizabeth Sayers and Amanda Patton.
Numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives and so many friends.
Pallbearers: Rodney Peterson, Scott Malsam, Don Sayers, Gerald Moring, Roger Kirkland and Denis Gaston.
Honorary Pallbearer: Bill Huth
Visitation will be 2-4 PM Sunday at Farrar Funeral Home.
