Alice Marie Davis-Rose was born on October 3, 1968 to the late Bobbie L. Taylor and Ruby Davis in Monroe, Louisiana.
She was an alumna of Neville High School. She worked 23 years for Magnolia State Peace Officers and was a pillar in her community.
Alice became a member of Greater Free Gift Baptist Church in 1995, under the leadership of Bishop Rodney McFarland, I.
Alice was married to Charles E. Rose.
She passed on June 4, 2020.
Alice was preceded in death by her father, Bobbie L. Taylor.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Charles E. Rose of Monroe, Louisiana; her mother and step-father, Ruby and Elbert Chambers of Monroe, Louisiana; three children, Charles Davis and Marvin Davis of Monroe, Louisiana; and Jessica Davis of Lewisville, Texas; one step-daughter, Kannisha Brown of Houston, Texas; 12 grandchildren, Charles Edward Davis, Jr., Ta’Kaela De’Monshay Davis, Amar Marquize Jones, Zha’Marviya Amor Jones, Omarion Marquize Davis, Paris Nicole Davis, Marvion Marquize Davis, Marvin Marquize Davis, Jr., Imari-Neohal Marshall, Jada Finister, Zha’Marviya Amor Davis, and Royal La’Shae Booker; five maternal siblings, Major Davis, Nicole Towns, Willie Davis (Sharon), and Tyrone Davis, all of Monroe, Louisiana; and Latisha James (Keith) of Richardson, Texas; four paternal siblings, Gary Taylor (April) of Sicily Island, Louisiana; Evelyn Taylor and Bobbie Taylor of Monroe, Louisiana; and Darius Sims of New Orleans, Louisiana; nine aunts, two uncles, one God-sister, Ebony Brass; one special friend, Teresa Otis; and a host of other cousins, friends, and family.
