Catherine Grace Rogers was born on February 28, 1955 to the union of Shelby and Rosetta Grace in Monroe, Louisiana. Catherine received her formal education through the Monroe Public School System, graduating from Carroll High School in 1975.

Catherine accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Tried Stone Baptist Church of Monroe, Louisiana, under the leadership of Pastor George Washington.
She was employed by St Francis Medical Center for thirteen years and retired in 2003. In her leisure time, she enjoyed knitting, cooking, spending time with her grandchildren and watching her favorite television network TNT. She was a beautiful person who showered love to everyone she came in contact with.

Catherine was preceded in death by her father, Shelby Grace, her grandmother, Irene Tyson Brown and her great aunt, Rosie Lee Otis.She was survived by her mother, Rosetta Grace of Monroe, her daughters Michelle (Floyd) Bibby of Cumming, GA, Consonya Rogers of Monroe; her son Marcus (Cheryl) Rogers of West Monroe; her grand-children DeShara Phenix of Monroe, Sydney Bibby of Cumming, GA and Marcus Rogers, Jr. of West Monroe. She is also survived by her sister, Gwen Grace of Monroe, three brothers, Charles Grace of Monroe, Glen Grace of Dallas, TX. and Ben (Felicia) Grace of Cumming, GA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family and friends.
