Shirley Ann Boatner-Robinson was born on September 14, 1951.
She graduated from Central High School. Shirley Ann was a Direct Service Worker for Preventive Measures in West Monroe and for years ran her own neighborhood candy store where many people came to love her.
She departed this life on May 19, 2019 in her home in West Monroe, La surrounded by her family whom she loved very much!
She is preceded in death by her mother, Hellen Bell Boatner, father Willie T Cobbs, her husband Bruce Robinson, three brothers, Cleve Boatner, Robert Boatner and James Boatner, and two sisters, Francis J. Cobbs and Gwenette Fay Carter.
Left to cherish her memory are one son One Ronterrious Robinson; 5 daughters; Amber Robinson, Shevondalyn Boatner, Sonya Boatner-Muhammad (Nasir Muhammad), Monica Boatner-McLemore (Vincent McLemore), Deanna Boatner;3 sisters Nancy McFee (Samuel McFee), Patricia Cobbs, and Barbara Slack; 4 brothers Louis Boatner (Dorothy), Ronnie Boatner (Ruby-Nell), James T. Cobbs and Willie T Cobbs; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
