Barbara Janette Hicks Funeral services for Barbara Janette Hicks, 52, of Longview will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 18, 2011 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with the Reverend Jim Crump officiating. Interment will be in Mooringsport Memorial Gardens in Mooringsport, La at 1:00 p.m. She passed away Tuesday, March 15, at her residence in Longview Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Hicks was born November 28, 1958 in Shreveport, LA to Thomas and Earline Tatum and had been a resident of Longview for the past 23 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist church. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas C. Tatum; sister Susan Pigott and brother, Paul Tutt. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Bob Hicks of Longview; her sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Victoria Tatum of Longview and Robert and Kelley Tatum of Tatum; grandchildren, Chance Allen Tatum, Adriana Marie Mullens, Gavan Cruz Mullens, Cayden Robert Tatum, Alaya Gabrielle Tatum and Caitlyn McKenzie Tatum; mother, Earline Tatum of Bossier City, LA; brother, Sidney Tatum and wife Kathy of Mansfield, La; sisters, Wanda Danner and husband David of Smiths, AL, Henrietta Taylor and husband Bubba of Haughton, LA and Connie Lout of DeBerry, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.
