Funeral Services for Debra Ann Fitzgerald, 60, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, November 9, 2018, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Rev. Gordon “Skip” Dean officiating. Interment will follow in Hasley Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Debra was born on April 26, 1958, in Turlock, CA and passed away on November 4, 2018, in West Monroe, LA. She was a special education teacher for the Ouachita Parish School Board for 29 years. Debra was District Governor for the Lions Club International District 8I and a member of The Greater Ouachita Lions Club. She loved cooking, painting, and doing crafts. With her many accomplishments, being a wonderful grandmother to her grandsons was in her opinion, her greatest accomplishment. Debra is preceded in death by her father, Bill Stroud; brother, William Stroud; and niece, McKenzie Stroud.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Fitzgerald; daughter, Didi McCarthy and husband, Joel Watkins; grandsons, Jonathan Watkins and Rylan Watkins; mother, Barbara Stroud; brother, Robert Stroud and wife Crystal; niece, Marleigh Stroud; and numerous other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Robert Hollingsworth, Ray Cecile, William Arcenaux, Brad Parker, Rick Breen, Shane Knox, Melanie Foote and Danielle Cagle.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday, November 8, 2018, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
