Graveside services for Mary Jane Rice, 68 of West Monroe, will be held at 11:30 A.M. Friday April 21, 2017 at the Hasley Pavilion with Rev. Charles Malone and Dr. Kevin Stewart officiating. Interment will be in Hasley Cemetery.

Ms. Rice was born on December 30, 1948 in Natchez, Mississippi and passed away on April 18, 2017 in Ruston, LA. She worked as an office manager for State Farm agents for nearly 40 years. Ms. Rice loved her family and loved animals. She is preceded in death by her husband, Zachary "Rusty" Rice; parents, George E. Sr., and Theda Bryant.

Survivors include her sisters, Carrol Shaw and husband Bubba of West Monroe, LA, and Ginny Allen and husband James of Sterlington, LA; brother, George E. Bryant, Jr. and wife Gayle of Tyler, Texas; nieces, Kandi Pate and husband Billy, Nicki Johns and husband Jamie; nephews, Shawn Bryant and wife Dawn, Trey Bryant and wife Angela, Andy Allen and wife Lori; numerous great nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the Legacy Hospice staff for all the love and care that was given to Mary.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M until 7:00 P.M. Thursday April 20, 2017 at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or American Diabetes Association.
