Services for Noel Eugene "Gene" Whitlock will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe, LA with David Bromley officiating. Interment will be held at Hasley Cemetery, West Monroe.
Gene served in the US Navy as an Airman from June 28, 1946 to April 28, 1948. He loved traveling, hunting, scuba diving, and spending time with his family.
Gene is preceded in death by his wife, Margie Louise Whitlock; son, Paul Alan Whitlock; parents, John Q. and Dettie Mae Whitlock; and brother, J.Q. Whitlock. He is survived by his sons; Larry Gene Whitlock and wife Gail, Perry Glenn Whitlock and wife Janice; grandchildren, Cynthia Johnson and husband Brian, Kimberly Cook and husband Joshua, Donna Goodwin and husband Tony, Rhonda Whitlock, and Chris Whitlock and wife Jennie; siblings, Pat Rice and husband, Lavelle, Johnnie Mae Brister, Louis Whitlock and wife, Judy, and Kitty Carter and husband, Glenn; sister-in-law, Jan Whitlock; and 11 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Gerry Dison, Gerald Bloxham, Robert Thompson, David Cox, Harvey Marcus, and Chuck Chambre.
Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 PM, Monday, November 23, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.
