Services celebrating the life of Louise Anderson Roy Peck, 82, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at Rose-Neath Marshall Street Chapel. Interment will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery, Shreveport. Visitation will be Monday, January 3, 2011 from 6:00 until 7:00 at the funeral home with a Rosary at 6:00.

Lovingly known as "Weezie", Mrs. Peck was born in Ashland, LA on February 24, 1928 to John and Alice Anderson and passed away Saturday, January 1, 2011. A lifelong resident of Shreveport, she and husband Harry were parishioners of St. Joseph Catholic Church. After graduating from Fair Park High School, Mrs. Peck began working in the banking industry at Commercial National Bank and Pioneer Bank. Later, she pursued a career working in civil service for the State of Louisiana with L.S.U. Medical Center and finally retiring as the manager of Louisiana Department of Motor Vehicle Registration and License Bureau in Bossier City. She was especially fond of working in her yard and cross-stitching for her family. However, her greatest joy was taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Weezie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harry A. Peck, sister Merle Cotton, and brother Herman Anderson.

Left to cherish her memories are two daughters, Adrane Roy Reeves and beloved son-in-law, Alden and Sharon Roy Alleman. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Amy Gordon, Bo Reeves, Andy Reeves and wife Kylie, Carey Beene and husband Cary, and Mark Alleman and wife Robyn; great- grandchildren Cody, Casey, and Colton Gordon, Carson Beene, Drew Reeves, and Parker and Taylor Alleman.

Honoring Weezie as pallbearers will be Bo Reeves, Andy Reeves, Mark Alleman, Cary Beene, Cody and Casey Gordon. Honorary pallbearers will be Colton Gordon, Carson Beene, Drew Reeves, and Parker Alleman.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Henry and his physician assistant Pam Patton and to the staff of Promise Hospital and Heritage Manor Stratmore. A special thanks to Joe Gilsoul and Vickie Rech for their professional guidance and support.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Diabetes Association or the National Alzheimer's Association.
