On January 21, 2023, Velma ‘Ellene” Graham, 93, entered heaven peacefully surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on September 28, 1929, and was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Mary McCalman of Oil City, Louisiana, as well as, one sister, Virginia Hodges, two brothers, Glen McCallam and George McCallam, and her loving husband of 62 years, William Franklin Graham.
She is survived by her four children, Ronald Graham, Sharon Sloan and husband, Ted, Terri Porter and husband, Les, and George Graham.
Her sweet presence will live on through her nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren who know and love her as Granny.
A visitation and service in honor of Ellene will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at Rose-Neath Southside in Shreveport, Louisiana. She will be laid to rest in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mooringsport, Louisiana.
Honoring Ellene as pallbearers will be Flynn Bankard, Robin Bankard, John Sloan, Kevin Fyffe, Austin Sloan, and Ron-Hunter Hogankamp.
