Funeral services for Mrs. Nettie Ruthel Green Holland, age 92 of Bernice, will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Dubach. Officiating the service will be Rev. Reagan Colvin. Burial will follow in Fellowship Cemetery under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.
Mrs. Holland was born November 29, 1923 in Dubach, LA and died at April 17, 2016 in Bernice, LA.
Mrs. Holland is survived by her children: Patsy R. Holland Brown, Lillian Sue Holland Huey, Robert L. Holland, and George R. Holland; her sister: Elease Green Wilson; 12 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband: Robert Lee Holland; children: Linda J. Holland Hart and Kenneth Dale Holland; brothers: Jessie Palmer Green, Prentiss Wesley Green and Grady Washington Green; sisters: Rachel Green Bagwell, Ruby Green Bagwell and Lucile Green Lewis; grandchildren: Jeffery L. Brown and Laura Ann Brown; great grandson: Joshua Allen Parnell.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until service time Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Dubach.
