RINGGOLD, LA- Funeral services for Millie "Nell" Sipes Bruce, 75, will held at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel on Saturday, April 13, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Bill Kincaid officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Park West cemetery. The family welcomes friends and family for visitation from 5:00 until 7:00 on Friday, April 12, 2013 at the funeral home.

Millie "Nell" Bruce was born September 12, 1937, in Shreveport, LA and went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 10, 2013, after a brief illness. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ringgold, LA and a member of the Homemakers club where she enjoined ministering to others. She was a past president of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the American Legion post 14. She enjoyed traveling and taking cruises with her husband.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Sipes, mother, Nina Hester Sipes, and husband, W.W. "Bill" Bruce. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Vogel and husband, Ted; son, Leonard Bruce and wife, Karen; granddaughter, Stacy Guerrero and husband, Mason; grandson, Kevin Bruce; granddaughter, Kristin Bruce, and great grandchildren Hannah Guerrero and Taylor Guerrero; sister-in-law, Jane Ann Smith and husband Kerry. Nell had numerous friends whom she cherished. Nell was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Honoring Nell as pallbearers are Kevin Bruce, Ted Vogel, Mason Guerrero, JT Floyd, Jay Prudhomme, and Richard( Dick) Cordell. Honorary pallbearer is Billy Oliver.

The Bruce family would like to express their gratitude to the skilled and caring doctors, nurses, and respiratory therapists at Minden Medical Center.
